Large wooden building peeping out from the forest

For 2024, we have an all new and even better location at Loon Lake in Maple Ridge, BC!  Close enough to Vancouver to get to, but far enough away for that I'm-on-a-wild-BC-adventure feeling.

Those that visit often refer to Loon Lake Lodge and Retreat as 'the Lower Mainland's best kept secret'. Sitting on the Vancouver side of Golden Ear's Provincial Park, Loon Lake Lodge & Retreat Centre is a local destination for quiet reflection and a home for fresh air, clean water, and tall fir trees that frame the majestic Garibaldi Mountain Range.

Can you say, "Yay, no holiday ferries to stress about!" (apologies to our Sunshine Coast crew - we love you, please get on the boat and come dance with us!)

Don't have a ride? No problem we've got a ride share boardIf you need to take public transit/bus to Maple Ridge and want to arrange a pick-up, please email info[at]intentiongathering[dot]org as soon as possible, and we will do our best to help with arrangements

Light spilling out of the windows of a cabin in the forest

Loon Lake Lodge and Retreat is gorgeous. It has that traditional "camp" feel with big timbers, stone and fireplaces. Yet it's very modern and functional as well.

We'll be sleeping in fully winterized and heated lodges, and eating three catered meals per day. Accessible rooms are available. There are multiple workshop spaces, a big gymnasium for nighttime dancing and daytime movement workshops, and every lodge has its own lounge for you to hang out with your neighbours and make your own!

All rooms are heated and have regular electric outlets. All have either single beds or bunk beds, with mattresses, in various configurations. You'll need your own bedding and decor to make your cabin cozy. Check out our What To Bring page.

There are trails around the lake, including a meditation trail with guided signage.

For those who need to stay in touch with the outside world, cell reception is unreliable, but Wifi will be available. Set up Wifi Calling on your phone before you arrive.

There will be cabins devoted to families and cabins for folks with accessibility needs.  You'll also be able to choose the level of quiet you want. We have a dedicated team helping you with your accommodation needs.  Email accommodation[at]intentiongathering[dot]org if you are concerned or curious about your sleeping arrangements.
