Hello! Thank you for applying as a vendor at Winter Intention’s 2025 Artisan Market.
If you are a creator of handcrafted or fair-traded art, food, accessories, or second hand clothing, we’d love to hear from you!
The Artisan Market is a great way for our creative and gregarious community to further the mycelial connection amongst us by all seeing your creations go to new homes, as well as putting a few morels back in your pocket.
If you’ve attended Winter Intention before, you know it as an intimate troop of around 80-150 of our closest friends so you shouldn’t expect a huge flush or run of sales. The market is open for a limited season at the back of the dancefloor on the main party night, and there are no charges or table fees beyond your ticket price to be a vendor. Specifics of setup and hours of operation will be communicated closer to the date. Stay tuned.
Applications are open until Dec 24th at 9pm. It’s highly unlikely you will be denied a spot but you will find out for sure by the 27th December at 9pm.
This year we are trialling TWO new participatory options-
one is the Community Jumble Sale Clothing Rack.
Got something that no longer makes you feel cute as a button but is a bit too upmarket to put in a clothing swap, and you’d love to see if you can make a few oysters.. I mean clams back on it?
Bring it to the Community Jumble Sale Clothing Rack.
Alternatively perhaps you’re an artist or maker only beginning to spawn and don’t have enough product yet to warrant a whole table of your own wares. We are also offering substrate on the Community Table - whereupon your items will be lovingly arranged and sold alongside others strains from the Intention forest.
In both cases all items will be carefully labelled with the price and the owner/creator’s name. Proceeds will be collected for you, or the forager can deal with you directly. You can elect to keep the price firm, or accept a fair haggle, and it might be nice if participants help man the table for a few minutes at a time.
If you have a concern or a question, or you’re thinking “gee I’d love to do do that BUT…” please reach out to see if we can accommodate you or bolster your confidence.
ADDITIONAL INFO
Tables will be provided but you will need to bring anything else you need to make your wares shine - such as tablecloths, display stands, and self powered lighting; - except in the case of the community table and rack where support will be provided, though if you have any display infrastructure to show off your items (including coat hangers) to contribute that would be greatly appreciated. No house power will be available.
Tables are 6x3” folding tables, Clothing Spaces are roughly twice this size.
NO Candles, Combustibles or Nuts may be sold or brought into the camp.
NOTHING containing Anise or Fennel may be brought into the event.
Any burning questions may be emailed to artisanmarket[at]intentiongathering[dot]org, but you are not very likely to receive a response until after December 21st. More information will be released as we get closer to the date.
