Join Rainbow Space Fairy for a mini adventure in the kitchen at the start of dinnertime where we’ll get to be creative and play with our food before nomming down on dinner together.
Grab some fresh and dried alien parts and we’ll play around to create our own colourful, wild, wacky, imaginative, juicy, nutty creatures, and we’ll bring these edible aliens to life!
Shopping list (choose a variety of your faves!):
- Fresh fruit options (soft and juicy are best): Watermelon, grapes, dragonfruit (white or pink), kiwi, oranges, mango, melon, cantaloupe, pineapple, etc.
- Dried fruit like apricots, dates, cranberries, raisins
- Pretzel sticks or broken up pretzel twists
- Crunchy chow mein noodles
- Raw pumpkin and sunflower seeds
- Carrots (try purple or yellow varieties!)
- Chocolate chips
- Any other food you want to try playing with

This workshop is back by popular demand! This time we will focus on the challenges of 2020 and connecting deeply over Zoom. We will create a safe space for anyone who wishes to to be vulnerable and experience genuine openness and emotional exposure about this year or anything else on your mind—and help practice staying open and connected to people over Zoom.
Experience this transformative shift before dancing the night away!
Play At Home! with farahalicoach (on Playshop Pluto)
Creative, thoughtful, imaginative, and truly silly challenges to do at home to brighten your day. The spirit of this session is fun! We’ll talk a little bit but mostly we’ll be using the time to play and imagine through a series of creative exercises. Please bring some creative tools with you - pens, paper, glue, ribbons...whatever you have to hand. We will be making a couple of things, so have your favourite creative tools and materials close by.
Please come dressed in whatever outfits you feel your most powerful, playful & creative self in. There will be some degree of standing up and sitting down in the session to collect things from around your home. Cryptic right?

As a special feature of the pre-dance opening circle at 830pm, Rainbow Space Fairy will lead a fun journey through our imaginations to travel to the Zoomtention Galaxy and find our inner cosmic characters! The evolution of DJ Firekat (previously Ninjai Sensaya) brings a new solo empowerment. Djing provides an opportunity to inspire emotion, much like art and is a companion to this tattoo artist's work. She is excited to share some old favorites and some new tunes with the Intention community from her home to yours. Firekat encourages you either dance or pick up a pen and paper and draw during her set.

A hardcore electronic dance music lover since childhood, Amethystra had always wanted to be a DJ. She finally transitioned from the dance floor to DJing in January of this year, with her first public performances at small events in July of 2020 - and now she's hooked! Her favourite genres are trance, deep house, progressive and melodic techno.

In the spirit of celebrating everyone’s bodies (all shapes, sizes, genders, ages, abilities, etc), and in the spirit of creative self-expression and expansion, some of the event will be clothing-optional.
Starting at 11pm, tops will be optional. Creativity encouraged. :)

SPACE COSTUME FASHION SHOW! As always, costumes for our events are completely optional, but they can be a fun way to get into the mood, get creative and connect with others! Do you want to show off your space costume? Whether fancy or simple, you are invited to strut your stuff during our fashion show. Show time will be 11:11pm. If you let the zoom host know that you want to participate, your video will be featured for up to a minute so everyone can admire your space duds. (You will be given instructions when the show is starting.) Our MC will introduce you to your adoring fans. Can't wait!

Raghunath Khe has been an intrinsic part of the evolving conscious dance culture for more than 25 years. An innovative composer, producer and dj, he is interested in the transformational properties of music and movement, connection and community. He is a formal brahmana initiate within the brahma-madhva sampradaya (lineage), having spent several uninterrupted years as a monk studying and serving in temples in Canada and India. He belongs to the sodalities of bhakti, tantra, ashtanga, and draoidh healing practice. Regularly performing, teaching, and organizing events, he is currently co-resident dj at Vancouver’s long-running Just Dance night, and the host and producer of Mantra Radio on CiTR 101.9fm.
