Come Party with the Intention community for our biggest party of the year! Can't make it for all of Winter Intention? We'd love to see you for at least one night!

Every year we invite people who can't make the whole event to come get down with us for one night.  This year it’s on NYE again!

The $75 ticket price includes three meals (dinner, breakfast, lunch), a short integration ritual to welcome you into the Intention community, and a whole night of dancing, connecting, and a killer party all around. There are also places to sleep, for those who choose to sleep :)

The location is beautiful Camp Elphinstone on the Sunshine Coast near Gibsons, a short ferry ride from Vancouver.

We recommend that you arrive sometime after lunch, catch some workshops during the day, have dinner with everyone around 6:45 pm, and then enjoy the party.

When you wake up on Monday you can catch breakfast and lunch, stay for the closing circle, and head out with everyone else in the afternoon.

Intention 19 NYE will be at YMCA Camp Elphinstone in Gibsons, about 10 minutes away from the Langdale ferry terminal.

There are two ways to get there:

DRIVE: It costs $54 + $16.15 per passenger (round trip) to take a vehicle on the ferry.

Advantages: it's really easy to get there and you can also fill up your vehicle with people looking for rides on the rideshare board (to be posted soon).

Disadvantages: it's a bit pricey and carbon-intensive.

BUS: It costs $2.85 for Translink + $16.15 per passenger (round trip) to walk on the ferry. From the Langdale ferry terminal, you can walk (~20mins) or bike (~10mins) to Camp Elphinstone or we will have a shuttle bus to pick you up at the terminal for specific sailings (details of the shuttle schedule will be released 1-2 weeks prior to the event in the confirmation email).

Advantages: it's quite affordable, it’s pretty easy to get to Horseshoe Bay by bus, it’s less carbon intensive, we have a shuttle to pick you up or it’s a nice walk, and because we’re inside and food is provided, your gear should be fairly minimal/light. Thus, this is our recommended transportation mode.

Disadvantages: it's a bit less convenient than just driving and you’re limited to whatever gear you can carry or strap onto your back.

Either way... the journey is worth it :-)

- BC Ferry fares (save on fares with an Experience Card or someone else’s)

- BC Ferry departure, arrival and service notices for Sunshine Coast

- Translink trip planning

Intention consciously fosters a culture of consent. We want everyone to feel comfortable and respected at our events. If you’re unsure about an interaction or unsure if you have consent, please remember to ask first. Remember, only an ongoing positive, enthusiastic response means Yes!  When consent is respected, we feel more free to be fully ourselves.

This event takes place on the traditional, unceded and illegally occupied territory of the Coast Salish peoples, including the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) Nation. We always strive to leave no trace, to protect the land where we gather and to invite awareness of the history of this land.
